In the winter, even a small break from everyday routines boosts your energy for a long time. Try winter swimming in Luvia, or drive a rally car on a winter motor-racing track in Siikainen.

Yyteri in Pori is a popular summer destination in Finland, but it offers fascinating experiences even in winter. Go sledging downhill with friends or rent a long pair of skis for the entire group. If the winter on the west coast is too mild for skiing, take your children to the activity and adventure centre in Karhuhalli.

Located by the sea, Rauma is attractive even in the winter. Pack a snack in your backpack, wrap up warm and go on a hike in the archipelago when the ice is strong. Score a goal in ice hockey or do a spin on the ice on a natural or artificial ice rink.

The network of skiing tracks in Säkylä has one of the highest probabilities of snow in Satakunta. Ski along the illuminated tracks of Harjureitti and observe the birdlife in Pönttöpuisto. Go ice-fishing for ingredients for fish soup or win a cottage holiday in an ice-fishing competition.
